Am considering going for this. Potentially I could be laughing in five years time if rates go up... What are people's thoughts? What's the down side of an ultra long term fixed?

I tried to get the 3.99% 10 year fixed last year. But we hadn't found a house to buy so missed out. N&P withdrew the deal after a month or two as the demand was so high. I would jump at this if I was remortgaging today! A very good deal especially with the outlook for interest rates over the next 5/10 years (my opinion)0
