Hi Guys, been on the forum for long time, but never registered / posted anything.
Me and my girlfriend will shortly be looking for a house (first time buyers), we have a joint income of around £46 k currently, and i will be starting a new job in April which will push this up to £58k a year.
We have a deposit of £11.5 k and will be looking for a 5 % deposit, I currently have £3900 on a credit card and will most likely be applying for a mortgage with this amount on credit cards what are the chances being accepted ? has any first time buying applied for a mortgage with this amount of a credit card ?
Thanks Guys

It might not be the CC it will be the new job that might get you declined or is it a new job in your company x0

Check the lenders criteria on the job front.
Some will just want to see a contract, others will want you through probationary or to have been there for 3-12 months. At 95% i would imagine they will want you through probationary.
The debt could be an issue but so long as it fits affordability comfortably it should not be a major problem.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
