Car

Hi people, i,ve been bankrupt for appox 10mths ,the car i was allowed to keep for work etc is now on its last legs and its imminent it needs to been changed within the next 3 mth, i,m already paying into an ipa and dont have the funds to replace it ,can i approach the OR ,or am i wasting my time? Thanks

    If you need a car to get to work they may consider a request to change your IPA. If a car isn't essential, they may not. As philnicandevan says - no harm asking, the worst they can say is no. Good Luck :)

    Hi,
    Well if no car equals no work equals no IPA then there should be every chance that your IPA should be suspended to pay for essential repairs- that is the argument I would use anyway.

  • i would ring them and ask i was allowed to keep a bonus i recieved from work, most recievers will consider the reasons why you are asking and make a decision based on that, the fact you need a car to work should work in your favour especially if you can back it up with the fact that public transport not an option either due to work patterns, availability or cost!
