Also online agreements like most payday loans do not require physically signed agreements. Online apps with a tick box have been entirely legal and enforceable since 2005.

Neither Lowell or Shopacheck have confirmed whether it was done online, and my mother isn't the most technically inclined...So I'm doubtful that it was.
Edit : After checking their site, and the way they do things, It seems they may well only operate online. This is confusing because we have a CCA from Shopacheck for another debt, this has a signature on it, and even contact details for someone who works/worked for ShopaCheck.
Edit : Just checked the CCA we have for the other debt, it has a signature for someone who worked there. We have a 'Customer Payment Book' too. According to my mother, a gentlemen came round one time to talk to her about it. We even have a calling card with his name and mobile number.When someone calls you, you don't need to confirm a damn thing. The person who called you however, could be anyone.0
