Afternoon all I need some advice. Sooo my little dog got cancer we took him to the vets and after the op petplan made a direct payment. We had two follow up appointments and supplied a further claim form job done we thought. So we moved house and i'd also changed my mobile number but still had the same email to which the vets had, a couple of months passed and ive just had an email from quest saying I owe £180 as you can imagine I was shocked I called the Vets and the vet said we didn't get your claim form we just need one of those and can settle your account i'll pass it on to management and ask them to email you. Just received an email from the vets saying I didn't pay in time so they won't communicate anymore so I should pay Quest even though all that is outstanding is £55 for two appointments and petplan have said they will pay this !!! apologies for my poor grammar but can this really happen also Quest said they will be going for a ccj and balliffs ??

Wouldn't you have had to pay for the follow ups seeing as they would have been (possibly) under the excess?DEBT FREE AND PROUD

Pet plan said as it was all part of the original issue it was a follow on claim and they would pay out. Pet plan even called the vets at my request to advise them they would still pay !! But the Vets say the debt is passed to Quest and nothing to do with them ?0

Yes they have called the Vets and said they will pay the £55 but the Vets won't accept the payment. They are saying as payment wasn't made within 60 days I now have to pay quest £180 ! Also the Vets have my email address and even though I have moved they could of used this to contact me and didn't0
