Anyone Remember M&S Iced Madeira Cakes?

About 20 years ago someone got me an M&S plain iced madeira cake. Pretty sure it had royal icing on top, a really thick layer, and came adorned with a little plastic holly leaf. Came in a red box. It was absolutely GORGEOUS. I've tried asking M&S if they still do them but got no reply. Has anyone seen them lurking in store? They're not online, even if they still make them

Not seen them yet this year, usually in the shops nearer Christmas, but they don't seem to have many.0

good news ! went today and the Marks in Chelmsford Essex has them - I think they are £7. I took a pic on my phone but can't find it now, but it was definitely the top-iced madeira cake. It's in a red box with clear plastic top so you can see the cake.
hope this helps. I resisted the mince pie temptation.

That's fab, thanks so much! I'll email them again and try and see if they have them round here. Thanks again!0
