Poor budgeting and using pay day loan companies has meant I can't afford to pay my rent. I can't borrow any money from anyone and I'm trying to sell things within 3 days to make sure I can pay my rent etc.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

It would probably take me until February to have it all paid back, potentially January if I can get approved for more overtime.0 -

I only really have my mum, and she is in deep trouble herself. I have a great uncle, but I don't know how to approach the subject with him. I saw him yesterday for the first time in years, and I'm seeing him tomorrow and fixing his PC for him.
But I have no idea what to say x0 -

Start with "Hi" "seen as though iv`e fixed your pc for you, how about lending me £500 till February ?" Mmmm maybe not ? is it just the one rent payment you are behind ? if so stop paying your payday loans and pay double rent next month, you should never put paying PDL`s over and above your essential living expences, easy to say I know but if you miss a payment to a PDL you may get calls and texts etc, miss your rent you could be out on the street, no brainer really.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. Are you able to ask your bank for a temporary OD? Or upgrade your bank account to one with an OD if you dont already have one that has an OD?0
-
Thank you both for your replies.
Would I need to tell the letting agent of my intention? My concern with this is that I've just applied for a 6 month extension to my tenancy agreement. In June my friend is buying a house for me to rent off of her - which is great as I wont need to pay a deposit or be overly worried about affordability as my partner is moving in with me then too.
I am currently trying to set up CAT with my bank, we shall see how that goes as I know they are an absolute nightmare to stop!
My rent is due on 4th December, so I'm not currently in arrears xx0 -
