  • I can recommend primark thermal leggings, and vests. Very cheap and really warm, and considering the price (about £4 for the leggings last year) they have washed really well. I will be buying another couple of pairs when I can afford it..

    Aldi have thermals from Thursday, look.
  • Sorry for not responding to this sooner, but I kept getting an error message. Something to do with time-outs or something. Anyway.

    Thank you all for your responses. I'm leaning away from wearing synthetics as they just seem to make me sweat. Silk does seem to be rather expensive, though. Looks like I'll have to be nice instead of naughty in the run up to Xmas.
