Goodreads Win ...

hasn't turned up.

I won a book in September, 6 weeks possible delivery time. After 6 weeks I contacted Goodreads (I know you're supposed to contact the author but I couldn't get the contact link to work) and they said they'd spoken to the author and she'd send me another one out.

Still waiting.

Has anyone had this problem?
It's not a big win, I know, but it's annoying

Was it the author who listed the giveaway, or the publisher?

I've had this problem a couple of times and sent a Goodreads message to the person who had listed the giveaway to chase it up and both times my book was sent pretty quickly.

Failing that, I'd probably try and contact Goodreads again before considering what to do next.

It was the author. I'll give it til the middle of next week and contact Goodreads again (who were lovely ... and very quick at answering too!)

I won a book back in April from goodreads and I've still not received it.
The author is from America and a little while ago put a note up on her profile saying she didn't realise she had to send the books out herself and as she didn't have the funds to send the books at the time we would have to wait until she did to get our books (there was more than 1 winner)

Shame because it was a book I really wanted.
