PSNI Speeding ticket

If you get caught passing one of the mobile vans, how do they send you the ticket? In the post? By signed-for courier? After how long do they normally process it?
if i had known then what i know now

    The law requires them to contact you within 2 weeks of the incident - if they have not contacted you within 2 weeks you can relax - unless you are driving a company or lease car - then they have to contact the owner within the two week period to obtain the driver details.
