XFactor Final

Hi

I won tickets to this years X-Factor final and have received an email advising me to be there late morning/early afternoon.

Could someone who has won this in previous years advise on what happens on the day, I.e. Are we likely to be queueing all day to get in?

Any help would be appreciated.

  • I think so. Email says 'XFactor Final Information Pack'

    From here...

They've said I will receive further information on confirmed ticket collection timings nearer to the show so I guess I'll find out more soon.

I won tickets to the final last year in Manchester so may be a slightly different system but:

The initial queue looked very long but actually it moved quite quickly. Once you got to the bottom the queues separated into different companies depending on where you got the eticket from. Some were much longer than others, the ones I had were for a queueline that was completely empty so I skipped to the front :D (If you won from Pepsi I guess you might be in one of the longer queues because they've given away loads?)

I think the tickets were all reserved (I called the day before to check) but it may have been first come first serve for the good seats (I assume). I got there a couple of hours after it opened.

Once you get your official ticket you can go off and do whatever you like until the evening.

Can verify this ^^^ . We got our tickets really quickly (Pepsi win) tho' it was actually quite fun in the queue- everyone in high spirits so this added to the experience. Ticket collection was a different venue to the event, but easily walkable distance.
An added bonus for us was that the cheap online deal we got for Premier Inn turned out to be right opposite the MEN and they changed our room to one with a view of everyone arriving when we asked :)
