My screen has just died on me, lol.
Apparently its a common fault! The screen suddenly goes all milky, and loses all contrast.
since its <28 days e2save will replace it, and I will probably be stuck with a nasty grey orange one0 -
Has anyone who bought the Samsung D500 deal from E2save via Linemypocket received their £15 cashback in their Linemypocket account , I haven't and wondered if anyone else had?0

I havent got the cashback yet, when you goto your account on the right is a description of different status codes, for processing it stats:The merchant has notified us that a transaction has taken place. This is subject to a confirmation period of 30-60 days0

I checked "my account" at linemypocket and there's no mention of any transaction from e2save. I don't see any "contact us" link at Linemypocket either so will e mail e2save and question them about the cash back.0

Greasypalm are refusing to give me my cashback. Time to e-mail Trading Standards I think.
"We have investigated your claim for missing cashback.
I'm sorry to report that we have been unable to track this particular item and the retailer concerned has not logged the sale as coming from GreasyPalm. As a result we as a company have not been paid the sales commission for this transaction and as such there is no cashback to share. Sorry!
We understand that this might be disappointing but I'm afraid there is nothing further we can do to try and recover this claim.
We do want you to receive your cashback at every opportunity and below are a few tips to try and help you:
1. ALWAYS visit a retailer after logging into your GreasyPalm account and clicking from our website to the retailer.
2. Do NOT rely solely on Rebate Catcher (due to commercial restrictions this will not activate 100% of the time that you might have forgotten to log-in).
3. CHECK that Norton Internet Security is not blocking your tracking by logging into GreasyPalm and using the tracking checker.
4. ENSURE your Internet Browser is set to accept cookies.
5. SCAN your PC for spyware that might be blocking our tracking using a free software tool called Adaware available from:
http://www.download.com/Ad-Aware-SE-Personal-Edition/3000-8022_4-10045910.html?part=dl-ad-aware&subj=dl&tag=top5.
Regards,
GP Helpdesk"
None of this advice is of use to me. I've never had a problem with any of my other transactions with different merchanges via Greasypalm.. yet as soon as I place an order which would send me over my £25 withdrawal limit its not tracked... coincidence? You decide.I hear the cry of the silence around me.0 -
Hah, I don't believe it. After they fobbed me off with that BULL above, I made a new ticket to tell them this:
"This is a con. I ordered via Greasypalm and now you are telling me there is no cashback. If e2save or yourself are/were having technical problems in tracking cashback (its not a problem my end - other purchases have appeared without problems) then that is not an issue I should be expected to take the flac for. If you tell e2save them to contact me, I will confirm that I did infact order via Greasypalm. I can not now get a refund from e2Save so in effect you've leured me into making a purchase on a false promise. Please provide me with my cashback or I will report you to Trading Standards."
And about SIX minutes later, they credited me with my £15 cashback, amazing what you get if you just ask for it!I hear the cry of the silence around me.0
