hmmm
are mobilesuk.net going to go bust b4 coughing up the £150?0 -
I think the same can be said for all these cashback deals to be honest - I know some of the big names (which escape me at the moment) have gone under recently.
Little to lose on this though compared to some of the other deals where the monthly tarrif is £30 for example.
When you compare it to what the likes of The Link or Carphone warehouse offer, the cashback is really a bonus anyway0 -

No longer a user, goodbye folks. PLEASE delete my account. Thank you0 -
Didn't think it would last long!0

It's all academic now but how do you get to the £18.00 in your favour?
On deal 2, are you not paying £16.00 (normal price £32.00 per month) line rental for 12 months = £192.00, less £150 cashback. Making total spent £42.00?
The only thing I can think of is that the line rental for OVP Anytime 100 is £11 per month making £132.00 per year, but there is no cashback with that.
Has the wrong tariff been used for this calculation?0 -
Deal 2 works out at £11 per month - the first 3 months the line rental is halved by Orange, the rest is refunded by Mobiles UK.
Plus the £150 cashback you get, therefore;
12 x £11 = £132
- £150 Cashback
= -£180 -
Just realised what you meant now - but if you look at the pricing page, the OVP Anytime 100 tariff (at £11 pm) does come with the cashback aswell.0
