25% Off 6 bottles of wine at Sainsburys

Not sure if this is the right place - but Sainsbury's are doing their buy 6 bottles of wine or champagne and save 25%.

Be wary though - I was caught out last year when I bought 8 bottles - you only get it off 6 bottles. So if you're purchasing more, make sure you put them through on separate transactions.

If you have nectar points too - or double vouchers I think this will be a tasty deal!

Sorry, but I work in Sainsbury's and that is not right. The offer has always given 25% off all bottles of wine when you buy 6 or more. If you look at the end of the receipt it will show 25% discount calculated from all the bottles purchased, it doesn't show the discounts separately.

I've also used the wine offer myself several times (it's an added bonus when the staff discount has gone up, like it has now ), and never had any problems getting more than 6 bottles.

I can only think if it didn't work for you that it was some kind of fluke, or that you bought something that wasn't part of the offer

Thanks Parma - I just assumed it was because I hadn't purchased in six bottle amounts. I should have queried it!

You're right the offer that they do give is great and I'll be taking that up again and stocking up for Christmas - whilst using my double point vouchers!

It is Morrisons that usually only do it off of multiples of 6. If you buy 11 then only the first 6 get discounted but buy 12 and it is all discounted.

Don't bother, I ordered 6 bottles of Veuve Cliquot, and was sent a mixed bag of rubbish as VC was out of stock....!!!! poor..
