Wedding abroad!!!

Options
Hi everyone,

I am looking to get married in Greece next year April/May time. Our budget unfortunately isn't massive so need to keep it as cheap as possible. I only want something simple anyway, maybe a ceremony on a beach and as it is only us (no guests!!!) we would only need a restaurant to have a quiet intimate meal afterwards.
The problems is, i have no idea where to start and is there a way of organizing this all myself without going through a wedding planner???
Any advice/info would be very much appreciated. :)

hi!! congrats!! my h2b and i get married in rhodes in june 2015.... ages away!! :-( but like you, no guests, simple ceremony. we have gone through a wedding planner who has done a very bespoke package exactly what we want with a price we are very happy with. im sure you could do it yourself as in arranging ceremony venue etc but i would just be worried about the legalities side of things. wedding planner sorts all that and guides us through what we need to get together documents wise but i am sure it is do-able without a planner i just wanted someone to sort it for me. the price includes car to get us from hotel to ceremony & back, bouquet & button hole, photographer for a few simple pics at ceremony, ceremony venue booking fees, legal stuff & documents translated and she arranges 2 witnesses to be there for us.we picked a little chapel called st sofia for our ceremony and that had an extra charge over other venues so i bet a beach wedding would be even cheaper than what we have paid?
where in greece did you have in mind? mine was between kos and rhodes in the end.

    Hi ninadam,

This sounds exactly what we are looking for, could you supply me the planner/company you used please?

    Many Thanks,

    Paul.
