    Find a whole market broker.

Debt consolidation is not well received by many lenders. Santander assumes you will simply re-borrow whatever you pay off, so often affordability is an issue.

If you want the best deal and the best chance of getting this placed, the broker is now your best option.

do you know how much would a broker charge me? if i decide to go through the broker im not sure which broker to go through
  • I have currently have CIFAS on my name but i have requested CIFAS to be removed maybe this is the reason to why the application has been rejected by lloyds?

    It varies.

You're going to have to make some enquiries, speak to some candidates and compare their services and fees.

Ask friends and relatives for a recommendation. Failing that, try https://www.unbiased.com, switching off the "sponsored ads only" option so you get a full list for your area.

Call a few and get a feel for how they work and what they charge. They should provide an Initial Disclosure Document at the outset, setting out their service and how they are paid.
