Virgin broadband has gone down three times in the past week for me, the speed is good though.

Best thing is to post a message on their help and support forum or look at the service status for your area.

I've been with Virgin since they started and have had no major problems. But like all computer equipment they do suffer from 'getting stuck in a loop' occasionally. It may be that a simple reboot of your router does the trick. Try it.
Treat everyday as your last one on earth! and one day you will be right.
  • Thanks everyone. I am up to speed now! I've been with them since the old Telewest days:eek: Anyway apparently when the upgrade happened my hub was not set to the correct speed just defaulted or something (super fast what we pay for) all ok at the moment , just need to keep digging away at the daily mag videos which are a pain at the moment:)

Always slow here -- less than 2Mb download

Sadly we live in an area where there is no cable - so have to have VM down the BT line ........... although 1/2 mile down the road they have 150Mb

Have you checked your router? Mine was playing up and it turned out that VM needed to send a signal to it.

I would 'phone VM and see what they can do. Ask for compensation, they will usually give you a few days credit. ;)
