Can anyone advise if it is possible to make a claim to have a property rebanded, and therefore obtain a refund, after you have sold the property?

Only the current council taxpayer can ask for a rebanding. So you will have to ask the new occupiers.If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0
