I found the cheese and jalapeño version last week, was lovely warmed up with some HM spicy butternut squash soup. I am convinced that soup / curry makes the best meal, decent bread takes it to the next level.
Is the cranberry / walnut / Stilton one still around? If anyone has seen it lately I shall try to track it down.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

I'm with you - nothing nicer than a good bowl of soup & some decent bread
Have seen the stilton, walnut & cranberry a couple of days ago and they are definitely crusty rolls rather than tear & share or a loaf of bread.0 -
I agree, they are delicious!0

Is the cheese and jalapeno bread very spicy? As I usually find jalapeno peppers too hot but maybe the cheese makes a difference? Should I give it a try anyway?0

Still no luck with the cranberry etc variety. Bought some sage and onion bread instead this evening in town after the pub, wasn't at all hungry when I got back but it was really good warmed and spread with butter. Yum.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

Invited a friend over for lunch and we polished off the sage and onion bread (she had most of it smothered in brie). Am unconvinced I am ever going to get my chops around the cranberry variety though.
I shall go into the New Year unfulfilledValue-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

popped into Co-op yesterday & they told me that, although it was only supposed to be a Christmas item, the beetroot & apple loaf has proved so popular, they are continuing it for a while - don;t know how long awhile is0
