Gfk Connected Life App question

Hey everyone,
A few weeks ago I received an email from Gfk regarding a study into internet usage/social networking, which would involve downloading an app called Connected Life onto your phone and tablet and monitoring usage for a month. After the month, you would then receive a £5 voucher. Sounded straightforward so thought I'd give it a go.
Now I've been having a couple of slowness issues with my mobile so was thinking about sorting it out, which would mean having to delete all of the apps from it. In doing so of course, I wouldn't get the voucher, so I decided to hold off until I heard from Gfk saying I was now entitled to a voucher.
Out of curiosity, I decided to go to the website for the study and had a look into the FAQ's. I was very surprised upon reading this: " For stage 1 (Digital Monitoring) you will receive £70, this will be administered via post on successful download on all devices of software and completion of full 10 day period".
Obviously this was not the reward I was led to believe i'd get at the end of the monitoring phase! I now feel on the one hand that I'm being slightly scammed, but on the other it would seem a bit unintelligent of them to link to a site where they are offering more money to other people. I've contacted them today about this asking what the deal is so i'm hoping to get a reply.
So, in summary has anyone had an experience with this particular study, either in receiving the same email I did or being offered the £70 for a 10 day period? Any other thoughts on this would also be appreciated!
