Am I right saying you need Playstation plus to be able to play the PS4 online?

I was looking at playstation plus on amazon and it says its for the PS3, will that work on the PS4 or is there another type I need to buy?

You will need PS+ to play PS4 online, PS3 will remain free to play online.

There is only one type of PS+ you can buy, doesn't matter that it says PS3.

Amazon has a year for £36.99 which seems a good price. most places I've looked are around £40.

I recently purchased a 1 year subscription for £40 and got 3 months free. You will get 14 days free with your PS4 which you may not be able to add onto your normal subscription. Sign up to the 14 day trial when you get your PS4, then add the paid subscription afterwards.

I got a £10 money off code sent to me via email from Game so got mine for £29.99

As Matilda says, I'll use any free PS+ subscription that comes with my PS4 tomorrow, then add my years subscription.

I'm 99% sure that the free subscription is only for new subscribers, so I think you're right.

What can you do in that 14days? Do you need to buy any games?

I wonder will there be any good demos on there? If I just buy the PS4 no games tomorrow and get 2 weeks PS+ free can I play all the demos to decide which game to buy first?

Is PlayStation HOME any good now? I had a go on my PS3 but it seemed dull. Hope its better for PS4.

Yes 14days free PS+, home is said to be much better on PS4 but we will see tomorrow.

I don't think we can get the 14 day free trial as when PS3 had that security problem a while ago they gave everyone a trial of PS Plus.

Sorry.. another PS Plus question... Do you need PS Plus for all your accounts?

for example: both my husband and I want to be able to play online but under our own profiles, do we need one ps plus subscription or two?

Just one It offers you to have your PS+ on all accounts when you register.
