Twitter question

Hi I am sorry if I am being thick but do twitter competitions announce their winners on twitter and tweet you?

I have entered 1290 twitter competitions this month and not won anything - which is cool but I was just a bit worried that maybe I have won something and just didn't know as I didn't see anything.

I am new to twitter and not quite sure if I need to look out for my name or if I will just be tweeted?

Any help would be much appreciated.

the twitter comps ive won, i either got mentioned or a DM. i have email notifications on, so any mentions or DM's i get an email so i can't miss any

Crumbs, that's a lot of competitions! I've not entered that many and I've not won anything yet.

Got to be in to win it though, so just got to keep RT-ing!

If you check on your @connect tab then click mentions, any comps you have won will be displayed there by the company hosting it. Hope this helps x

check your @connect and if you are mentioned it will show up under mentions, but quite often they DM you as well x

I kind of answer the question today when my phone beeped showing a PM that I had won a competition :j:j:j.

I think it's just a tiny one (I can't find what the prize is) but it is Hunger Games related and my youngest boy is currently reading book 3 whilst counting the days until we see book 2 so whatever it is he will be ecstatic.
