Silly question this :o. Currently both mine and my wife passport has been sent away to get renewed this will take around three weeks. I wanted to know when applying for a mortgage will the lender ask for both of our passports or would they ask for copies only.

Many Thanks

Lender would usually want to see proof of ID and proof of address.

Passport and DL is the preferred way but DL and bank statement/utility bill should be fine.

Ask the lender and see what they say.
