Won an AWESOME prize

So found out today that me and my nan have won (because of her dancing) an all expenses paid to London trip, including meeting Arlene Philips , tickets to Billy Elliot and hotel and dinner all paid for next Tuesday which is AMAZING!

Was from this post (they are still looking for football people they've had hardly any entries)

so thanks PaigeB

BUT big problem

after founding out we had won, my nan fell over today, BROKE her elbow and split her head open and can't go because of she has to be in hospital this time next week for an operation and doctor has told her to rest up but the part of the prize is Arlene Philips presenting a prize to her so not sure what to do now??? or if they will let me go if I don't bring her

What a shame - it's worth letting them know and see if there is anything they can do so that your nan can enjoy some of the prize when she is able :)

  • Oh no - your poor nan. Hope she recovers quickly.

Definitely contact the company. I am sure they would try and do something for you, especially as it was down to plain bad luck that your nan has had a fall at this particular time.
  • If you explain the situation to them hopefully they'll sort something out for you. I hope your Nan recovers quickly.
  • So sorry to hear about your Nan's fall (tell her to be a bit more careful on those fancy dance spins!) and hope she makes a speedy recovery!

  • thanks everyone I think my nan was more gutted as it was just after she'd had her hair done and she was complaining more about her hair being ruined than anything else! lol
