Worst thing for a comper….

leaving what i call the 'bat line' at home (PAYG mobile just for incoming calls) and remembering when you are out and thinking - i bet the thing rings now. Get home and low and behold. missed call. unknown number. No message. Queue evening of torturing myself on what i might have been….

If it's any help I had one from an unknown number today and it was about blinds. About 2.40pm I think.

if it helps all my winning calls have came from numbers never a witheld

I hate leaving my comping phone home, last year i left it to go out for the day and got back to a message saying to call capital radio asap. I had won £500 of vouchers and sports tickets which i had to claim by the close of business. made it by the skin of my teeth!

2nd worse dilemma is when the battery dies when your at work and your thinking about the calls your gonna miss ( usually none!)

I had a missed call on my bat phone yesterday. My heart leapt. But a quick google of the number revealed it to be a Grazia person, and more likely than not trying to sell a magazine subscription.

Ah well. The heart leap was good while it lasted

Number was withheld - will just have to hope they call back! I have had a couple of wins from withheld numbers - it depends on the company sometimes. eeeek! fingers crossed if its a win they call back!
