I need advice please.

I have a mortgage which I owe roughly £36,000,but it`s not fixed and the rate has now gone up to 7.79.

I seriously need to do something with this.I have a few problems which are;
My ex husbands name is still on the mortgage,we have been seperated for the past 3 years.He has his own rented flat.

I asked NR who I have the mortgage with and they told me I`d have to pay a little over £500 to get the ex`s name removed.But they would need his name off before considering offering me another mortgage on my own.I dont feel comfty about doing it that way incase they wont give me the new mortgage on my own and I`m left up the swanny.

I have have two defaults on my credit history,due to late catalogue payments, within the last year.Catalogue has been settled now and cancelled.Did my credit report which said my credit rating was *fair*,which aint great.

I have a poor income,I get roughly £13,000 per annum which does include,working/child tax credits.

I also have a large bank loan which costs me more each month than what my mortgage payments are.

I also have another bank loan(£3,345) what was used to pay for my ADI course which I have until the end of September to pay off in full without any interested payed or pay it over 3 years with the rate of interest at 29.8% for 3 years.

I`m not sure what I need to do?

I know that I`d like a new fixed mortgage for about 2-5 years,plus adding on that £3,345,so I could pay it off in full. But With my poor wages and not too grand credit history would this be doable?
