flexible working request

hi,
just hoping someone has some experience or knowledge of flexible working requests.
i've successfully agreed to working 28 hours per week (instead of 35), 7 of which will be at home but they will not reduce my workload.
I support an operational team so there will be consequences if (when) the work doesn't get done.
Is this allowed?

Have you directly raised the issue of how they would like you to prioritise your workload given that you are working less hours and therefore unable to complete the same workload as before.
Or are they saying you should still be able to manage it in the time available?All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Usually you can get more work done at home due to colleagues not distracting you, more energy from no commuting etc. Perhaps they took that into consideration?0

Personally I'd not be happy if my work suggested dropping my pay by 20% but expecting my output to be the same, even if it was as a result of me asking for more flexible hours. On the face of it's at the very least a bit unreasonable.0

Surely this is the negotiation, you said can I work 28 hours instead of 35, they said yes but you still need to do the same work and you said ok.
Thus, if you don't do the work they could look to go through disciplinary proceduresDon't trust a forum for advice. Get proper paid advice. Any advice given should always be checked0 -
