What to do with free beauty samples

As the title says really. I've got lots of sachets, packets and trial size beauty samples that have accumulated over the year. Too many for me to use but I'm not sure what to do with them? I thought about 'upcycling' them somehow for Christmas gifts but realise they'd look a bit rubbish (& tight!) just thrown in a gift bag.
Have any of you clever lot got any ideas? Would a charity take them ?

I always take mine on holiday with me, but I'm sure a charity shop would take them. You could always make some Christmas crackers & put them in.0

Christmas crackers is a great idea, thanks. We're hosting christmas dinner this year so will definitely do that.
Any other ideas anyone? Think I may nip some down to the charity shop this afternoon too.0 -
Could you make them into a hamper for someone? I collect beauty samples throughout the year, and make them into a hamper for my teenage daughter. I also add a bottle of her favourite perfume, when there all in a nice wicker basket, with shredded tissue and wrapped in cellophane, it always looks great and is very well received!0

Do you have a local homeless charity near you.
Google 'Homeless charitys in xxxxmake the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
Take them to your local school? Unexpected presents of samples are always a happy surprise! Your local GP will also be pleased & may well route any "leftovers" to women's refuges etc.
Make someone's Christmas!0 -
if you make up a hamper as polarexpress suggested and you have no one to give it to you could donate it as a raffle prize, perhaps to a school or a local charity.0

Thanks everyone. I'm not sure how they would look in a hamper really, lots of them are like the little sachets you get inside magazines so not very substantial. I may take the soapy & moisturiser type ones to a local church that I know does work with a women's refuge though.0

Could you make someone a beauty advent calendar with them? It's something I'd like to do for my Mum but I never seem to be able to hold onto my samples for long enough :rotfl:0

I sold a batch of mine which I did not use on EBay the other year, cant remember what I got for them but might be worth a try.0

My sister is a teacher and gets too many presents at christmas from her schoolkids so she takes them to the local childrens home0
