I think if Customer Service spoke to me like that I would be on the phone to main Customer Services as soon as I got home! If you are lucky then you would get the value of the coupons refunded by main Customer Service so that you wouldn't have to travel as far.:)

I tried last night but they shut at 8pm, have slept on it and now wonder about divulging the info that I'm an orchard member?

:j:j just rang them thanks, i didn't say where the voucher was from but he said he is sending me £10 as they double the overcharge?

In my mind that makes no difference if you are an orchard member...you have coupons to use against certain products and you were denied the use of them.


I do conceed that keeping a low profile is usually the best option but when you clearly had a £5 voucher you should have been able to use it....it was not your doing that the CS desk was closed at 8pm...that shoul remain able to take queries until the store closes.


I would contact tesco CS at head office via live chat or send an email.

hiya, I had trouble too at the check out with the finest meat voucher.
I picked up the finest mince beef 2 for £8 .
gave in a £5 coupon and it would not scan. :(The supervisor was called and we both, check out lady And I said I had picked up the finest meat. Supervisor said just to over ride it and put it through.:T

The are like busses it seems, I had one (the fish one) then nothing for ages, then two came a long at once, (the ingredients one and the finest meat)
