Just used my meat voucher. Wow the cost of Tesco finest meat is unbelievable. Cheapest beef joint was £20. Ended up with a piece of pork for £9.90. So £4.90 after the voucher.
This meat had better be nice.

I know, I've been shocked! I ended up buying a chicken, it was £7.75,so paid £2.75 after discount. Chicken in the oven now, smells nice! Not sure I would want to pay those prices though!

I used my meat voucher on some veal mince that was in the reduced section, and some sausages. Only went for the veal mince cos we had a till spit coupon for it too!

OH ended up using ours on a joint of Chestnut Smoked Gammon which was £10 so ended up paying £5 for. It's in the oven now and I hope it's worth the price.

I got the chipolatas, 2 packs for £5. The till said no but cashier overruled it as she said she couldn't see why they would be excluded.

I went in yesterday - I don't really have anyone to give the vouchers to so I decided to use them - I decided that the till would not know it was me that had used them.

Beef Joints are on special as I have a small one in my homeshop basket, but instore the joints are big, cheapest was £15 so I gave that a miss. Then found they have a Finest pork and stuffing joint available and they were all priced between £4 and £6 so I got one of those with my £5 voucher. The dates were really short though - 2 days, so it is in the freezer until xmas.

I then found the same joint on the reduced shelf down from £6.10 to £4 so used a £1.50 voucher on that, then I bought some chipolatas, 2 for £5, and used 2 x £1.50 vouchers.

I went through the self scan and put through the first joint on it's own but the till wanted authorisation on the £5 voucher, lady doing the tills read the T&C and put it through, then I put through the reduced joint and the sausages and the till accepted 2 coupons but not the 3rd, the lady just put it through manually again.

Now I have 2 more vouchers to use on bacon. Yum.

I did the same, two packs of pigs in blankets for a fiver, and the cashier had to overrule it (but only after checking with about 3 others that it was ok!). They were very impressed with my festive freebie
