Can I pay my Mortgage on my Credit Card each month ?

I was wondering if anyone knew if you can pay your mortgage each month on your credit card?
If so, can you arrange a direct debit to do this ?
It would be really good if you could, as then you would obtain cashback on your 'purchases'!!
Thanks
Tracey

I have never heard of anyone doing this. AFAIK, all lenders only accept payments via DD from your nominated bank a/c.
10/10 for lateral thinking! In case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:0 -
I think it depends on the lender.
I know that some will not as its paying credit with credit.0 -
You cant set up a direct debit from a credit card. You can only have this through a bank. From a credit card it is a continous credit card payment and I doubt a bank would accept this for mortgage payments.0
