looking for mortgage that I can consolidate loan into

Hi all,
I'm looking for a mortgage provider who will consolidate an existing loan into the mortgage because I can't afford to have both running. Spoke to NatYes, who said it was fine one day then impossible the next.
The mortgage I need is around 50% LTV so I didn't think it was a big ask but am struggling to find a bank who do this!
Any ideas or suggestions would be gratefully received.

At 50% LTV this should be very easy to do so there must be a reason they have said no.

Im going to guess affordability or possibly bad credit?

How much is the house worth?
    How much is the mortgage?
    How much is the loan?
    How old are you?
    How much is your income?
Do you have any bad credit? If so what do you have and when were they dated?

Therein lies your problem. Mortgage lending is to purchase property not provide cheap finance for other purposes. Affordability will be a major factor when any lender appraises your situation.
