Darning Tips

I've found cards of darning wool in charity shops, it's worth having a little rummage around in the sewing, knitting shelves/boxes. Would this wool be more likely to be pure lambswool compared to what is available today in wool shops? Our days are happier when we give people a bit of our heart rather than a piece of our mind.

I know it sounds like something a mad old biddie would do (I'm a 33 year old man) but I find it relaxing while listening to the radio...perhaps I should get out more! ::)
Find a sane young biddie................................I have put my clock back....... Kcolc ym0 -
Find a sane young biddie.
If only I could! Most women I go out with think 'money saving' means taking a minicab instead of a black cab!0 -

Could anyone please tell me how to darn socks? I know it's a bit difficult to explain without pictures but I'm fairly handy with a needle otherwise - just don't know where to start on this one.
Or can anyone point me to a useful website giving instructions?0 -
