    Some interesting points made...

It's not a question I ask at interviews, but when on a panel and someone else does ask it one answer sets my teeth on edge and that's when women say "Having my children". (and in my experience 50% of women will answer that). As a potential employer, that tells me nothing. Jeremy Kyle "guests" drop children all over the place; not my ideal employee!

I'd say keep it professional, focus on the key qualities they are looking for in the role teamwork, planning, results focus etc etc.

That did make me laugh and, to be fair, perhaps the interviewees found that difficult to answer without giving it more thought.

One question we ask at interview is; discuss a mistake you've made and how you've learned by it. We were really looking for answers around being adaptable, changing work practice, having resilience, keeping positive, not getting too stressed etc.etc.

For some reason there will always be a man answering that he has never made mistakes
