. I'm thinking of doing a freebie diary for 2014 and logging what I get (sad I'm sure some will think but I will be interested to see what I get over a year)
I must be sad lol,I already log all my freebie/ coupons and prize every year, so I can see if its still worth collecting freebies and cutting coupons.
:rotfl:**Thank to all MSE who save me money with vouchers/ freebies & competitions ***0 -
i would agree that joining the testing panels is possibly the way to get the highest value freebies
I have been monitoring the free stuff I get for about four years and split them into the areas of free products, trials, vouchers and free film screenings....last year was my best to date with a combined total of around £2100...
The items that really boosted the "earnings" last year was the pamper party pack from philips which was worth around £600 back in july ...
I also make use of the try me free products which last year represented a value of just short of £100
Sometimes the freebies are things I wouldnt normally use and after tring them wouldnt use them again...but every now and again a gem is discovered....this happened with a boots prefect and protect primer...I was sent one to trial, but now im hooked they cost me £19.99 a pop!
My biggest saving has been on toiletries and beauty products thanks to the testing websites of boots alba science and beauty bible.frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!
2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend0 -

Best one came right at the very end of the year ... free 1.5kg bags of James Wellbeloved cat food, in return for filling in a simple fast form. Worth around £12 each. My mum, brother and dad each got one on my behalf with their email addresses too.
V happy cats at the moment! :TThe people in my life: Betty Crocker, Mr. T and Gordon (of Gordon's gin) :T0
