I'm hoping to go to Winter Wonderland this weekend and wanted to know what people thought of it? I'm thinking it'll get me right in the mood for Christmas!

Hey, its worth going to, we went last year, better if you can go when its a darker if possible. It is expensive though if you want to go on any of the rides or eat there.
We only stayed for around a hour, really just went for a look, it does get you in the christmassy mood though0 -
We go every year and absolutely love it
I agree it is better in the dark. We don't usually go on any rides or anything. We get a roast pork roll (YUM!) and have a couple of drinks in different places as we walk around

went once before and had to queue for over an hour for the two rides we went on. Was extremely busy but the kids seemed to enjoy it.0

I've been a couple of previous years and planning to go on Saturday. It gets absolutely rammed but I loved it. Wander round looking at all the things and soaking up the atmosphere, watch the ice skaters, get a couple of drinks and a snack in different places...
OH is pretty much looking forward to going just because he can get a currywurst0 -
I went a few years ago and hated it as it was rammed full, swore i'd never go again as so expensive and felt like sardines trying to get in this was before they started doing the ice kingdom.
However we are taking the plunge again this year and going next Friday as my daughter has an inset day in the hope that Friday daytime will be quieter? We are also going to visit the ice kingdom as it wasn't there the last time we went.
I'm hoping to feel all Christmasy afterwards0 -
We are taking our daughters this Sunday, having early lunch then getting there for all afternoon. Will be visiting the Ice palace and they want to go on the tall swing ride as been on that at Flamingo land and loved it. Apart from that will be looking forward to soaking up the Christmas atmosphere and looking around the stalls etc. Then on to somewhere like Covent Garden/Regent Street to see the lights and have tea.
We are aiming on leaving WW just as it gets dark so we can see all the lights and before it gets too busy as heard the evenings are the worst.
Enjoy your day.0 -
Hi all, I'm heading there next week, just wondered if anyone could give me a guideline idea on prices of drinks and food? (going evening with friends so I'm sure there will be wine!)
I think it's £3 a ride from the website, so that should be OK. Just keep hearing how expensive everything is there though
pippitypipI know I'm in my own little world, but it's ok - they know me here!0
