To celebrate the wonder and versatility of one of our favourite foods, Uncle Ben's has declared June 21 as National Rice Day and will take to the streets of London to educate, inspire and feed Londoners!
To get your free lunch and enjoy a London journey by rickshaw, meet the Uncle Ben's team at Market Place, just off Great Portland Street anytime between 12pm - 4pm on June 21.
If you can't make it to the area, then we've teamed up with Uncle Ben's to offer three lucky winners the chance to win a luxury food hamper.
Did You Know...
Londoners brought almost 33million kg of rice last year
There are over 100,000 different varieties of rice

Rice is grown on every continent except Antarctica
The average family eats over almost 18kg of rice each year, the equivalent of 288 boil in the bag pouches
Rice is so important in Chinese culture that the traditionally greeting is 'Have you had your rice today' instead of 'How are you?'
