Just to let you all know about this, on 11.11.2013 I applied for a warehouse job on Universal Jobmatch by the apply button and it record my Job application on the site. well this morning I got a reply back from the company stating I have been Unsuccessful this time however the company is keeping my details on file.
So to the people who think the applying for a job on Universal Jobmatch by the apply button is a waste of time, well it's not
Even though I have been Unsuccessful at least I got feedback and I made a note of this on my account

That is no problem as if I apply for a job on a 3rd party website then I will make a note of it in the activity history with the company's name and website and also with the ref number, I always do this as its proof I applied for the job if I put the ref number in also I request a copy of the job sent to my email.

I'm glad you got a reply then in a whole year of using UJM if that is what you are implying. ???
Sorry gg I don't know what point you are trying to really make - well a company recently contacted me 6 weeks later to say I had been unsuccessful but would keep my details on file, despite when I applied direct on their website it was "if you haven't heard within 2 weeks assume you have been unsuccessful" - what I'm trying to get to is we can all have different experiences ....just as different advisors can treat people differently
Only a fool doesn't use UJM to the best of it's ability to prove their application, where there is the option to send a CV
Applying through 3rd party non known websites - hope you won't mind your details being harvested or potentially receiving scam mail; why do you think there is so much detested cold calls and scams?0 -

Only a fool??? Really? How do you prove an application on a 3rd part site? You cant no matter how you think you use the UJM
Why do you say the 3rd party sites are non known? Are they really? I have been transferred to agencies sites and Monster and I think I know them very well.
You don't think your details are harvested on the UJM too? Did you read the bit where the UJM says they hold no responsibility for any loss of ID and anything else that may happen to you as a result of applying for a job on their site? We’ve had to remove your signature.
