  • Is the sale also online? I have seen a dress and a suit I would love to buy but they never have it in-store (petite size). Its in stock at the moment and I am so tempted to buy it, but if the online stuff also goes into the sale I'd put my order in at 5am sat!

  • Does anyone know when the Next summer sale 2012 might be? I need to plan summer holiday asap and dont want to miss it... thanks..
  • I don't have any insider knowledge to share, but it usually starts the Saturday mid-July. That would make it 14th July this year. I only know this because it is ALWAYS the day after my daughter's (old) nursery breaks up for holiday

I would guess that it will be the 21st July. Usually the first weekend of the school summer holidays!!

Summer sale 2012 starts 14th July. I asked in store the other day and the assistant had to whisper to me as they aren't allowed to tell anyone.

Is it better to shop online and get it delivered to store free rather than fight the crowds in the early hours of the morning?

You have to pay to get it delivered and if you've ordered a lot it usually comes in dribs and drabs over a few weeks, I'd prefer this though compared to elbows at dawn.

You cannot have free store delivery at the beginning of sales.
I find that online and stores can have different items. 2 different stocks.
I think mainly because VIP customers have access to online sale before it goes live for everyone else so a lot of things are gone by the time you get there.
Nowadays I get VIP invites, but didn't used to and then I would go to a shop at a smallish shopping estate near by and that wasn't as busy as the big main shops in city centres. And I got stuff I haven't even seen in online sale sometimes!

And another thing I used to do - after the main rush of sales, go back online regularly after week or so - I find that a lot of the items that were gone when I looked have been returned by customers so are back in stock, and then you can have free store delivery if you are directory customer so I used to pick up some good stuff later on as well.
