Price advice: All Saints leather jacket

Hello MSE-ers,
I've always been on the lookout for "my" perfect leather jacket. And now it exists in All Saints current collection! RRP £398. My plan is to wait until sales to get it and snap it up quick.
However one has just come up on eBay, current bid price £155, 6 months since purchase, perfect condition, only selling because they need money. Buy It Now price is £230.
My question is what price do All Saints leather jackets get reduced to usually if at all? I've never bought anything from that shop before so have no idea about their usual pricing or sale schemes. Whereas with Karen Millen, I know exactly what will be reduced to what price, what will still be available at sale time and the lowest price it will goto - guess I'm hoping someone with similar brand knowledge might read this.
Any experience of All Saints leather jacket quality and value appreciated too. I really really like this jacket. Basically asking should I get it for £230 now or wait for sale?
Thanks for reading this post - any help or advice greatly appreciated.
P.S can you wear them in the rain? Get conflicting advice on this.

With their sales, whilst many things do go into the sale, they seem to either sell out extremely fast, or they are kept back as they're viewed as a classic item and then never get reduced and seem to get pulled when the style doesn't suit the weather and disappear for a few years only to come back as more expensive.
I would keep an eye on the stock levels in your local store, see how popular it is and if there are any left in your size. Once the stock levels are low and there is no sale then I wouldn't waste your time waiting any longer IYSWIM! They do have a sale which usually starts around Christmas time but it can often be like gold-dust trying to get anything in your size.0 -
Thank you for your reply!
I went to All Saints today and tried it on - perfect fit and I really do like it, so think I may get it at 230 (though maybe not - the seller says they definitely put a BIN button on but it isn't there!).
The sales assistants in the store were lovely. They said at sale time people usually grab things off the shelves and things go very quickly, but that *was* the Regent Street store. Too nice - had me trying on shoes and tops that I hadn't gone in for! All lovely and very flattering, think All Saints might become my new Karen Millen - i.e. will be keeping a beady eye on their sales and eBay for unwanted gifts etc!
Thank you again for your reply.0
