I just Googled Great British Discounts and I can't find anything positive about them at all, I've never used them but thought it might be worth giving people a heads up.

I have claimed this £20 cash back from Great British Discounts (actually I've claimed it twice using different email addresses) It was really straightforward to cancel it and they send you a pre-loaded MasterCard. So long as you remember to cancel, then it's no problem. I cancelled as soon as I sent off my claim, which I think you can do as soon as your order is confirmed. I think it took about 3-4 weeks for the MasterCard to come through.

That's good to hear.
Everything I found said people didn't get the card or the card wasn't loaded if they did receive it!

Do you mean as soon as your receive your email confirmation? If so, how did you do it? by email or phone?

Well I seem to remember there is a form you complete in order to claim the cash back, which you have to post to them.

To cancel your membership you have to phone them. They didn't put up a fight and try and convince me to stay, they just cancelled it straight away (and their number is easy to find on their website) I was really upfront with them and said I only joined to take advantage of the cash back offer. I even asked if my claim would still go through if I'd since cancelled my membership and they assured me it would, which it did.

I had read total horror stories about them too, so my main concern was making sure I cancelled before they started taking payments from me. So long as I did that then I figured it was worth a try and if i got the cash then great. The fact it ended up working twice was a bonus!

Thanks I got a coat and two t-shirts for bf. Also did the£20 cashback offer . After a few goes of refreshing it went through .. hopefully it will be simple to do x
