Does anybody know about Natwest policies on giving out mortgages to anybody who started a new job? I have read on loads of websites that lenders see this differently and may or may not offer a mortgage in this situation.
I couldn't find anything though about Natwest. any recent eperiences?
Many thanks

Continuous employment is the issue. It's not a secret policy, a PMA or a call to the mortgage people in Birmingham would confirm that.
That element of the application is just one of dozens of bits of information that are looked at.0 -
Thank you for your reply.
Well I have been in continuous employment for the last 5 years and there is a solid record of advancement and salary progression. The new job is within the same field and it is actually a career advancement and comes with a 30% salary increase!
Do they actually look at the whole picture or is it just a tick box exercise?0 -

A combination of the two. If the change of employer is recent more questions will be asked about your previous employer, salary and dates of employment. The lower the LTV and better your credit profile the less likely it is to be an issue in itself.0
