lump sum pension payment

my husband is due his lump sum pension to be released to him early next year , can he have his cheque paid directly to my bank account as he has not got a bank account ,it is just in my name , thanks any help

Cheques are crossed from any institution like this so no, he would have to have a bank account. He could just open a basic one, shouldn't be a problem.
Other than that, it might work if your husband wrote to them and ask if the cheque could be made out to you. But if that is the case, he must remember that once that happens, the money totally belongs to you and you could, in effect, do anything you want with it, because it will be yours and yours alone.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

He will also need it for State Pension, heating allowance, much easier just to get him to either open one up for him self or get a joint account with you.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
