Twitter not letting me tweet?

Is anyone else having difficulty tweeting today? If I try to tweet from a rafflecopter form it says 'Tweet Creation Failed' and if I try just doing a normal tweet it says 'your account may not be allowed to perform this action'. I'm hoping my account isn't being suspended...I haven't had any notification though?
To those that have had their accounts suspended before do they usually notify you first?

If your account has been suspended it will say on your Twitter page across the top.

Could be that you're in Twitter jail? Have you done loads of tweets today in quick succession? or has it just not allowed you to tweet at all?

I've done a few tweets today with no issues.

Hope you manage to get it sorted.

It doesn't say I've been suspended and I don't think I've managed any tweets successfully today as far as I can tell so don't know why I'd be in twitter jail. Oh well, hopefully it will start working in a few hours. Maybe I'll actually get on and do something else for a while! (scary stuff!)

Whenever I get the your account cannot perform this action (or whatever the wordage) if you refresh the page you often find it has done the retweet.

If it doesn't, then log out, clear all your cookies and history, go back and log in and usually that works.

check how many people you are following if you reach 2,000 then you get locked, you will have to unfollow a few to get moving again.

I am at follow limit but I thought this just stopped you being able to follow anyone else not stopped you from tweeting? I've been at follow limit before and had no trouble tweeting. It won't let me un-follow anyone either today.
Now I've tried clearing cookies, signed out & tried to sign back in but it won't recognise my password or send me a reminder! Twitter really doesn't like me today!

It's just accepted my password (the same password it was insisting was wrong earlier) & is now allowing me to tweet! Am none the wiser but happy I can get on and do some twitter comps! Strange it doesn't seem to have happened to anyone else.
