Never had a real wreath inside and obviously with xmas trees you water them lots so that keeps them going.
The candle idea sounds lovely though
I'm not sure how long it would last - we have greenery around our candle but have a little circular vase thing to stand it in & it's usually gathered the weekend before Christmas - although it lasts until 12th night.
I have had a real wreath on the inside of the porch door before that lasted well - I regularly sprayed it with water & it's quite cold with no heating so that would have preserved it.
You could try hanging the wreath outside overnight or on the days running up to Christmas to try & keep it fresh and then just bring it in when you're dining.0 -
I've just seen the aldi leaflet & they start selling fresh Noble Fir wreaths for £4.99 from Thursday 28th Nov. Looks to be about the same size - 30cms - and has a few decorations on it.
No idea how long it'll last though.0 -
