rules/question?

My mom has a facebook page selling handcrafted goods. I'm going to suggest running a comp to get some likers (currently 12). She has some lovely knitted reindeer that she could offer as a prize.

Question is neither of us could post the comp on here so how would we make people aware of the comp?

My mom is not a comper have said nothing yet would just love to get people viewing her page. Have stumbled on some great sites/facebook pages just from comping.

my mum has a facebook page she is up to 78. She does dog boarding so nothing crafty. A way i found to increase traffic was to do a nice photo add some wording and put it in the business section of local selling groups. Our local one allows this to be bumped every so often. Its definitely generated business for her. You could do a photo and mention competition in your local selling groups. With a bit of luck someone will pick it up and put it on here.

just search for your area and selling and lots of things are likely to come up.

We also went around liking anything dog related. Quite often crafty peeps do like for a like to build up audience if your read other crafters comments.

I have been fairly lucky with facebook comps. Its the small crafty ones that i get more excited about as they tend to be more unique and less people enter. I won a lovely bear recently and went on to commission a doll made from bits taken off my wedding dress (i am short so was loads over) from them as i was so impressed with quality and presentation. They had another comp after that and i put it on here ad they seem to be pretty much flying higher now.
