i want a good electric shaver

So I have now had two moderately expensive Phillips shavers in a row, the latest being a senso touch. Before that I had a traditional Remington triple foil. In my opinion none have given a particularly close shave compared to a blade. Does anyone with experience of a number of brands have a suggestion? Is Phillips the best I can expect to get?

My hubby has tried most electric shavers known to man and he swears by his Philips (he has got the RQ1251) he said its the closest to wet shaving that he has ever known so in his opinion, yes that is the best you can expect.

The Panasonic range seem to get good reviews but I have never used them.

After I posted yesterday, my December Which? arrived and they have a shaver test in it. You can sign up to their on-line service for £1 for a months trial - might be worth your while.
