Mega Motors (Scalextric type slot car racing) Cheap

There are a few Mega Motors (slot car racing) tracks going cheap (quarter to half of original price).

    This one does indeed come with a remote controlled Nissan, it is in the box, complete with a rechargeable battery pack for the car and a 9v battery for the transmitter. The car is big, about 12" long, the lights work and it has engine and "screeching brake" type noises. Probably worth the £15 on its own

    I bought the champion car deluxe! Its great! My son loves them!

    Except one piece of teh straight track is slighly faulted at the metal end bit....i dont really fancy packing all the track etc up and carrying that big box back. Any suggestions on what i can do?

    Can you remove one piece of straight from each of the long sides and just have a slightly smaller circuit?

    i picked one up yesterday, only problem..the free radio controlled car that came with the set up went up in smoke as soon as i put a new battery in!!
    arranged a replacement, will be picking up today.
