XBOX One...Downloading games

Right, I got FIFA 14 free and have bought RYSE, they are taking an absolute age to download onto the system, is this the same with everyone?

Fifa is 14gb and I'm sure Ryse will be double that. Depends on how fast your connection is. Took a few hours to get forza for me last night and its about 40gb.

yeah, i looked at a ps4 game and it said 49gb minimum. so another reason not to buy this gen.

Surely this is only if you buy the digital versions. Personally I would only get the discs if the PS4 continues like the PS3 you can save up to £20 on some titles by buying the disc.

It still downloaded my games onto the hardrive.

though actually looking to some speeds on here my 50mb connection did the job a hell of alot quicker than some!

Yup, it installs to the console, same as with PC gaming.

I read that if you run low on available space it deletes install files from games you've not played in a while automatically.

no not a digital version. it was in the info on the back of the box in a shop.

and then at some point you return to that game and have to install it again?

Why would it be a reason not to buy this gen when you can just put a bigger hard drive in it? I'm planning on sticking a 1.5gb hd in my ps4
