Just noticed this page and it use to do small competitions to win DVD's , now it has started posting links to loads of other comps on different pages only thing is they are all referral links so they are getting an extra entry for every one that clicks through their links

Did they just do a few small comps to get fans so they could then post their links for the extra entries into the bigger comps??

I found this thread as I was googling the site mentioned in this thread - I liked them a while back when they were running a comp - they looked a bit dodgy then and I looked into them back then too - I must have forgot to unlike them after deciding I wouldnt want to give my details to a teen in exchange for a couple of freddos that they were giving away lol
I saw a comp they posted in my newsfeed today and then saw he was posting tons of comps with his referral link claiming that a 'percentage' of any prizes he won would be used to as prizes on his fb page in a big summer giveaway!!!
My guess is he looked up people that had entered his own comps on his page and started entering comps himself.
on his post about a comp to win a £2k chanel handbag I asked him if he was going to give away the bag if he won or just a piece of it - his defence is hes giving other people the opportunity to enter - like hes doing people a favour... im all for sharing comps hoping to get extra entries on fb.. that's not an issue at all... its the underhand way hes doing it - under the guise of a professional page and claiming if he wins he will be giving away the prizes! pffttt! that MAY be so but how does anyone actually know he wont win and just say nothing and keep the prize... I am quite annoyed at it really! think hes taking the mickey! Hope he doesn't get any extra entries from doing it!

yep! I have started a conversation off about it on the comments of the £2k Chanel handbag if anyone wants to add anything... the last time I can see a post that wasn't about competitions on his page was back in January! hes just using his official page to better his own personal chances of winning comps!

I see that he has removed all the previous competitions he posted that had the referral links but without him mentioning that they were referral links. I know a few people commented before about it but it seems he has also decided to remove those comments also and now is mentioning that they are referral links. Judging by the likes he is getting on each post not many are taking him up on them. I did know his name because I clicked a link of his and his page came up at the bottom of the form saying I had been referred by him and he use to do very well yet only gave a dvd here and there away so it seems it was profitable while it lasted but I can't see it being the same anymore

how do you know he did well? did you see his name lots in winner announcements? ahhhh he obviously just gave away the odd dvd he won that he didn't want and keeps the rest... just as I thought! hes got no intention of giving away any good prizes he wins from getting tons of entries.... just hope he doesn't do well anymore! hes probably got his own personal page for comping too - wouldn't surprise me at all!!!
